One thing I love about blogging about shoes is the unexpected emails I receive about designers I have never heard about. And it's the case with Lauro Righi, a designer who has worked for important italian shoe factories as Sergio Rossi and Casadei. From the 60's to the 80's, he ran his own brand producing hand-crafted shoes and bags in limited edition for the Italian, European, North American and Japanese market. Lauro Righi's son, Andrea, contacted me to present his father legacy and the Etsy shop where you can find prototypes or stock fund production from the 70's and 80's, new and never worn. So if you're like me, some kind of a vintage shoes addict, go and take a look. As most of them are prototypes, the size are pretty small, but it's a great opportunity to own models so representative of a fashion style period.

Une des choses que j'apprécie particulièrement avec ce blog, c'est de recevoir des emails concernant des designers dont je n'avais jamais entendu parler auparavant. Ce qui est le cas de Lauro Righi, qui travailla pour Sergio Rossi et Casadei, et produisit des années 60 à 80, sous son propre nom, des souliers et sacs fait main et en édition limitée, vendus un peu partout dans le monde. Son fils Andrea m'a contacté il y a quelques temps, pour me présenter l'héritage de son père, et surtout la boutique Etsy, où vous pourrez trouver des prototypes et modèles jamais portés. Si vous êtes comme moi, un peuaccro aux souliers vintage, allez faire un tour. Comme la plupart sont des protos, les tailles sont petites, mais c'est une belle occasion d'acquérir des modèles représentatifs d'une époque et d'un style.
